Una-una Island

This is a story about a island which even called Ringgit Island by merchants , because of the island has rich nature source. Una-una Island is a village. Once upon a time, this is a capital city of Una-una district. Traces of governance building still remain. Status of danger, closed island, make people do not dare to build a permanent home.
Jembatan Oleng (Shaky Bridge) in this island, is a bridge that connect sea-land. After walk in this bridge, our foot still felt shaky. But, although this bridge is a emergency bridge, it could restore island life that abandoned for 25 years. From this wooden bridge, Una-una's nature source can distributed to the other islands. 
Una-una island get smaller caused by erotion of sea. On sands or on the coast, lined up fisherman's boat, occasionally shake by waves.
In 2003, Tojo Una-una regency became own district. On the Una-una island, people recultivate their land, chocolate and coconut are the most excellent product. The other product are corn, sweet potatoes, vegetables, or nuts. In addition, people almost every night down at sea. Fishing area that spead among the cluster of reef, is located not far from the mainland, 20 minutes rowing.
Una-una Island also has a beautiful remote beach. This beach is a great and unforgettable diving place. Its nature scenery also can admire us. At the first time we come to the island, we welcomed by rows of coconut tree. Behind the coconut trees, there are two mounts, Mt.Bendera and Mt.Sakora. Natural charm and beauty of the sea are very interesting to visited. We can dive for see a crater of Mt.Colo that exploded in 1983. We can find all type of reef, like barrier reef, edge of the reef, and coral ring, with much kind of living things. In the forest, part of the land area, inhabited by anoa, boar, and deer. And there are we also find caves of rivers, waterfalls, and hot spring.
